⭐KEC International bags new order
The infrastructure firm has secured a new order worth ₹1,560 crore. The new order comes from Power Grid Corporation and involves setting up transmission lines and substations.
⭐ Chalet Hotels acquires new properties
Chalet Hotels has announced the acquisition of two new companies. The hospitality firm will acquire a 82.2% stake in Dukes Retreat, which owns 80-room resort in Khandala. The deal is worth ₹81.7 crore. Meanwhile, Chalet Hotels will also acquire a 100% stake in Sonmil Industries for ₹74.6 crore.
⭐ India’s smartphone export rise in FY23
As per new industry data, India’s smartphone export is set to reach $10 billion in the ongoing fiscal year. According to the India Cellular and Electronics Association (ICEA), Apple and Samsung constitute 90% of total exports from India. Smartphone exports have doubled compared to last year, supported by production-linked incentive (PLI) schemes for domestic manufacturing.
