⭐ DMart posts a profit

Avenue Supermarts (-0.8%), the parent company of DMart, reported a growth in standalone profit of 8.3% to ₹505.2 crore for Q4FY23. This is against a profit of ₹466.3 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. Its total revenue also went up by 20.1% to ₹10,337 crore in Q4FY23. Meanwhile, the supermarket chain added 18 new stores during the quarter taking the total up to 324 stores.

 

⭐ HPCL's net profit jumps 78%

Public sector oil company HPCL (+0.9%) reported a consolidated profit of ₹3,608 crore for Q4FY23, which was 78% YoY higher than the profit of ₹2,018 crore earned during the corresponding quarter last year. In the same period, its revenue from operations grew 8.7% to ₹1,14,445 crore. The company also reported its highest-ever quarterly crude throughput of 4.96 mn metric tonnes at the Mumbai and Visakhapatnam refineries.

 

⭐ Navin Fluorine posts robust Q4 results

Speciality chemicals company, Navin Fluorine (+1.0%) posted a consolidated profit of ₹136.4 crore in Q4FY23, up 81% compared to ₹75.2 crore earned in Q4FY22. The company also reported a 70% YoY growth in consolidated revenue in Q4FY23 to ₹697.1 crore from ₹408.9 in the comparable quarter last year. The company said its margins improved on account of the product mix and operating leverage.
