⭐ Delta Corp falls after muted Q3 result
Shares of the casino and online gaming operator declined nearly 5% in early trade. However, they recovered in the second half to close 2.9% higher. This was after the company reported a 59% year-on-year fall in its net profit to ₹34.4 crore in Q3 FY24. Its consolidated revenue also declined by 15% YoY to ₹231.7 crore. As per the company, introduction of 28% GST on the total face value of bets impacted its business revenue.
⭐ Puravankara hits 52-week high on robust sales
The real estate developer reported sales of ₹1,241 crore in Q3 FY24, surged 56% compared to ₹796 crore in the same quarter of the previous year. During the quarter, the company launched two new projects. Its customer collection stood at ₹941 crore, up 52% YoY. Meanwhile, shares of the company closed 6.1% higher today.
⭐ Pondy Oxide hits 52-week high
Shares of the leading chemical manufacturer soared 10% and reached a new 52-week high of ₹801 per share after the company signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Tamil Nadu government. As per the agreement, the company committed to investing ₹300 to ₹500 crore in state-of-the-art recycling and manufacturing plants over the next five years.
⭐ KIOCL falls after operations suspension
Shares of the Mini Ratna company closed 2.5% lower today. This came after the company announced the temporary suspension of its pellet plant unit in Mangalore due to the unavailability of iron-ore fines. The plant had previously been shut down for a week in December under similar circumstances.
