Adani’s open offer for NDTV ends

Adani Group's open offer to acquire additional stake in NDTV ended on Monday. The open offer was subscribed 32%, representing nearly 8.2% shareholding of NDTV. Post this open offer, Adani group total shareholding in NDTV stands at 37.4%, higher than 32.2% held by the founders.  

 

IEX clocks volume growth 

Power trading platform Indian Energy Exchange has reported 9% year-on-year growth in electricity trading volumes in November. The company said improving coal inventory and the onset of winter could further lower electricity prices on the exchange platform. The company held 91% market share. 

 

Airtel and Meta collaborate

Telecom major Bharti Airtel and Meta Platforms have joined hands to accelerate the growth of India’s digital ecosystem. Both companies will invest in global connectivity infrastructure and new-age digital solutions, catering to the emerging requirements of Indian customers and businesses. While the quantum of investments are not announced, Bharti’s shares were down 0.6% in an otherwise flat market.
