In its initial years it was surrounded by services to the local territory of Ahmedabad only. They also got  a chance to serve some of the giant organisations in the different fields. The era has seen a dynamic shift from sustenance production to commercial production. As per the National Horticulture Database published by National Horticulture Board, during 2020-21 the area under floriculture production in India was 322 thousand hectares with the production of 2152 thousand tons of loose flowers and 828 thousand tonnes of cut flowers.
