About Dachepalli Publishers Limited
Dachepalli Publishers offers a full range of K-12 educational services, such as curriculum-based textbooks, digital academic resources, and integrated classroom support solutions for the CBSE, ICSE, and state board syllabus. By FY25, the company’s portfolio consisted of over 600 titles spread across six popular brands: Dachepalli Publishers Limited, Apple Book Company, Orange Leaf Publishers, Pelican Publishing House, Sangam Publishing House, and School Book Company. Moreover, it provides schools with curriculum-prescribed digital resources free of charge, thus enabling it to keep the schools for a longer period of 3 to 4 years. The company has a presence in 10 states and UTs and is supported by a strong distribution network of more than 300 distributors and dealers. The major part of its books is distributed in the South Indian region. It sold more than 40 lakhs copies in FY25 across 3 main levels of education: pre-primary (Nursery to UKG), primary (Classes 1 to 5), and secondary (Classes 6 to 10). The company employs over 75 contractual authors, who are a mix of in-house and outsourced authors.
Its integrated operating model features in-house printing facilities and a centralised warehouse in Hyderabad to efficiently manage its supply chain. The installed capacity as of September 2025 was 15 TPD, while the utilised capacity was 5 TPD as of September 2025. The company generated revenue from Telangana (30%), Andhra Pradesh (20%), and Karnataka (15%) as of September 30, 2025, respectively.
