⭐ Titan posts strong growth in Q2
Titan’s total income grew 21% YoY to ₹10,027 crore in the September quarter. Meanwhile, its net profit rose by 10% to ₹940 crore. Shares of the consumer lifestyle company reacted positively to the upbeat results and closed 2% higher today.
⭐ Adani Ports jumps on cargo volume growth
Adani Ports’ shares closed 2.6% higher today after the company reported 48% growth in cargo volumes in October. The company recorded its highest-ever monthly cargo volume of 37 million metric tonnes (MMT). Out of this, approx 36 MMT was contributed by its Indian ports.
⭐ Zomato zooms after profitable Q2
Zomato’s shares zoomed nearly 10% after the food delivery aggregator reported its second profitable quarter. In the September quarter, the company posted a net profit of ₹36 crore as compared to a loss of ₹251 in Q2FY23. Further, its revenue grew 71% YoY to ₹2,848 crore. Additionally, Zomato’s quick commerce business Blinkit turned contribution positive in Q2FY24 for the first time ever.
⭐ Tata Motors rises on healthy Q2 results
Shares of Tata Motors closed 1.6% higher today after the automaker reported a consolidated net profit of ₹3,783 crore in the September quarter as compared to a loss of ₹1,004 crore in Q2FY23. There was a rise of 32% YoY in the company's revenue, which stood at ₹1.05 lakh crore. The management is confident of a stronger performance in the second half of the FY24 owing to healthy order books and demand.
⭐ Raymond forays into aerospace, defence and EV parts business
Shares of Raymond Limited were up 2.7% after the textile-to-realty conglomerate marked its entry into the sunrise sectors of aerospace, defence and EV components. The company has acquired 59.25% stake in Maini Precision Products Limited (MPPL) for ₹682 crore. As per the company, it will remain net cash positive after the acquisition.
