⭐VEDL pledges more shares of Hindustan Zinc

Shares of Vedanta (VEDL) fell a little over half a per cent on Thursday after the company pledged additional 10 crore shares or 2.4% of its holding in Hindustan Zinc for a term loan. Meanwhile, the OI of its April futures contract fell 6.1%, indicating a long unwinding.
⭐NTPC to add 3.5GW capacity by 2030

Shares of the state-run power producer closed higher on Thursday after reports suggested that the company will commission 3.5 GW of capacity by 2030 from its two under-construction nuclear plants. Meanwhile, the OI of its April futures contract fell 0.4%, indicating a short covering.
