⭐ D-Mart sees big jump in revenues 🛒

Avenue Supermarts, which operates the D-Mart supermarket chain, said that its revenue has almost doubled year-on-year to ₹9,806 crore in the first quarter of FY23. Its total store count stood at 294 as of 30 June 2022, as compared to 284 on 31 March 2022.

 

⭐ Coal India logs record output 💪

State-owned Coal India reported a 29% year-on-year increase in coal production to 159.8 million tonnes (MT) in Q1 of FY23. Last year, the figure stood at 124 MT. The company said the increased production will help in better stock build-up.

 

⭐ Hind Zinc’s mined metal production rises ⛏️

Vedanta Group-owned Hindustan Zinc reported a 14% year-on-year rise in mined metal production in Q1 FY23. The increase was due to higher ore production at the Sindesar Khurd, Rampura Agucha and Kayad mines in Rajasthan. The output of integrated zinc rose 10% to 2 lakh tonnes in the quarter.
