Nifty50: Bulls were in complete control of Nifty50 on the day last of the week. Nifty50 rose 229 points to close at 18,102.

Monthly options expiring on November 25 have sizable positions at 18,000 and 18,500 call options and 17,500 and 18,000 put options. 

Weekly options expiring on November 18, have a sizable base at 18,500 and 18,300 call options and 18,000 and 17,900 put options. Further additions were seen at 18,500 call options and 18,000 put options.

The broad range for Nifty50, as per options data, is 17,200 and 18,900 levels and its immediate support is at 17,700 and resistance is at 18,400 levels.

Bank Nifty: Bank Nifty saw a positive closing after a string of negative sessions over the last few days. Bank Nifty rose 173 points to close at 38,733. 

Monthly options expiring on November 25 have sizable positions at 40,000 and 40,500 call options and 38,000 and 37,000 put options.   

Weekly options expiring on November 18 have a sizable base at 39,000 and 39,500 call options and 38,500 and 38,000 put options. 

The broad range for Bank Nifty, as per the options data, is between 37,100 and 40,200. Immediate support is at 37,900 and resistance is at 39,400 levels.

Sector Update

IT and Realty sectors with buying interest have emerged as the leading sectors today. Stocks like L&T Infotech, Tech Mahindra, Wipro, DLF and Oberoi Realty closed in the green. 

Media sector and PSU Banks saw marginal selling pressure today. Stocks like Sun TV, Zee Entertainment, Canara Bank and PNB closed in the red. 

Major News: Leading research-based provider of indexes and analytics, MSCI announced a rejig of its MSCI India Index that included inclusion of nine new stocks like Zomato, Tata Power, IRCTC and 6 others and exclusion of 2 stocks, Ipca Labs and REC.
