Stock market today: After beginning trade on a positive note, the domestic equities slipped into the red in the morning deals on Friday, February 14.

At 10:42 AM, the S&P BSE SENSEX was trading at 75,913.84 levels, down 225.13 points, or 0.30%, while the NSE's NIFTY50 index was trading at 22,946.95, down 84.45 points, or 0.37%.

On the NIFTY50 index, 25 stocks were trading in the green, while 24 were trading in the red, and one remained unchanged.

The top five gainers were HUL, ITC, Nestle India, JSW Steel, and ICICI Bank.
The top five losers were Adani Enterprises, Adani Ports, Dr Reddy's Labs, Apollo Hospitals, and Sun Pharma.

Godfrey Phillips India: Shares of Godfrey Phillips India jumped as much as 9.6% to ₹5462.50 apiece on the BSE following Q3 results.

The cigarette maker on Thursday reported a 48.7% year-on-year (YoY) jump in net profit at ₹315.9 crore for the third quarter that ended December 31, 2024.

The company's revenue from operations surged 27.3% to ₹1,591.2 crore as against ₹1,249.6 crore in the corresponding period of the preceding fiscal.

Senco Gold: The stock price tumbled over 17% during the morning trade after the company reported almost 70% loss in its profit for the October-December quarter for the current fiscal.
The jewellery chain’s consolidated net profit for the December quarter declined 69.4% to ₹33.4 crore as compared to ₹109.3 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year. READ MORE
United Breweries: Shares of United Breweries (UBL), India's largest beer company and a part of the HEINEKEN Company, surged as much as 6.68% to ₹2,166 apiece on the NSE on Friday, February 14, a day after the company released its financial results for the quarter ended December 31, 2024 (Q3 FY25).

However, the stock pared gains later.
