Gold prices recovered by ₹290 per 10 grams in major Indian cities on Thursday, snapping the three-day losing streak as the US dollar and bond yields took a breather. Gold prices have moved in tandem with the recent global trends after the end of festive season demand. However, the ongoing wedding season demand has supported gold prices at high levels in local markets.

The US dollar index retreated to 106.22 level after easing geopolitical worries as Israel Lebanon truce held for the first day.

The spot gold slipped 0.23% to $2,630 an ounce in early Asian trade. The metal moved in a narrow range from $2,621 an ounce to $2,638 an ounce in overnight trade.

Silver Price Today in India (November 28, 2024)

Silver prices remained flat at ₹89,400 per kg in major Indian cities on Thursday amid weak global trends and some local demand from industrial units. Expectations of stimulus measures by China supported the metal while easing geopolitical worries capped gains.

Spot Silver dropped nearly 1% to $29.80 an ounce in global markets. The metal hit a high of $30.16 an ounce and a low of $29.64 an ounce in overnight trade.
