Gold prices tanked ₹1,090 per 10 grams in major Indian cities on Tuesday as reports of a truce between Israel and Hezbollah dented its safe-haven demand. US President-elect Donald Trump also threatened to impose tariffs on goods from Mexico, Canada, and China, which strengthened the US dollar and hit the precious metal’s appeal.

Spot gold was trading flat at $2,628 an ounce in early Asian trade. In overnight trade, it moved between $2,605 an ounce and $2,632 an ounce.

Silver Price Today in India (November 26, 2024)

Silver prices declined by ₹500 to ₹91,400 per kg in major Indian cities on Tuesday following diminishing demand from industrial units and weak global trends. Silver dropped below $30 level in overnight trade in global markets following easing worries over the Israel-Hezbollah war.

Spot Silver was flat at $30.34 an ounce in global markets. In overnight trade, the metal hit a high of $30.36 an ounce and a low of $29.98 an ounce.
