Gold prices recovered by ₹130 per 10 grams in major Indian cities on Friday following a correction in the US dollar in the overnight trade.

A surge in local demand due to the wedding season also supported the metal.

Gold was still range bound in global markets as investors awaited US data which could influence the US Fed’s decision on rate cut in the second half of this month.

Spot gold edged up 0.17% to $2,636 an ounce in early Asian trade. The metal moved in a range from $2,613 an ounce to $2,637 an ounce in overnight trade.

In Delhi markets, 24K gold prices advanced by ₹130 to ₹78,050 per 10 grams and 22K gold by ₹120 to ₹71,560 per 10 grams. The 24K Gold in Mumbai rose to ₹77,900 per 10 grams and 22K gold by ₹120 to ₹71,410 per 10 grams.

Silver Price Today in India (December 6, 2024)

Silver prices rebounded by ₹1,200 to ₹92,100 per kg in major Indian cities in early trade on Friday.

Demand from coin makers and industrial units supported the white metal in local markets.

Spot silver dropped 0.13% to $31.28 an ounce in global markets. The metal hit a high of $31.37 an ounce and a low of $30.90 an ounce in overnight trade.
