Gold and silver price on February 12: Gold rally continues amid trade war concerns, weak dollar

Gold prices advanced to hit fresh all-time high levels in early trade on Wednesday, February 12, following safe-haven demand and overnight gains in the metal in global markets.

The precious metal held near $2,900 an ounce level in early Asian trade on Wednesday after scaling all-time highs in overnight trade, supporting domestic prices. Investors are also awaiting US inflation data for further cues.

US spot gold slipped 0.61% to $2,914 per ounce in early Asian trade on Wednesday after hitting an all-time of $2,968 an ounce in overnight trade.

In Delhi markets, 24K gold traded at ₹87,540 per 10 grams and 22K gold at ₹80,260 per 10 grams. In Mumbai, 24K Gold traded at ₹87,390 per 10 grams and 22K gold at ₹80,110.

On Tuesday, in domestic markets, 24K gold rallied ₹320 to ₹87,380 per 10 grams in Mumbai, while 22K gold advanced ₹300 to a record of ₹80,100 per 10 grams.

Silver Price Today in India (February 12, 2025)

Silver prices dropped ₹100 to ₹99,400 per kg on Wednesday due to poor offtake by industrial users. The US dollar remained near the 108 level, which also impacted demand. Spot Silver was marginally up 0.09% to $31.84 an ounce in early Asian trade on Wednesday.
