PM Kisan beneficiary status 2025: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday released the 19th installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana (PM-Kisan scheme) directly to bank accounts of 9.8 crore farmers, who will receive ₹2,000 each.
Under PM Kisan, beneficiaries receive an annual benefit of ₹6,000, divided into three installments of ₹2,000 every fourth month.
The 19th installment of the PM Kisan scheme worth ₹22,000 crore was released by PM Modi on Monday, February 24, at a function in Bhagalpur, Bihar.
So far, ₹3.46 lakh crore have been under PM KISAN, and the number advanced to ₹3.68 lakh crore after Monday's disbursal.
E-KYC is mandatory to get the benefit of the direct benefit transfer scheme. The e-KYC can be completed using three methods:
All landholding farmers' families with cultivable landholding in their names are qualified to receive benefits under the scheme.
The PM-Kisan Scheme was launched by PM Modi on February 24, 2019.
In a post on X, PM Modi extended heartfelt congratulations to farmers across the nation on the scheme's sixth anniversary.
"Many congratulations to our farmer brothers and sisters across the country on the completion of 6 years of PM-Kisan. It is a matter of immense satisfaction and pride for me that so far about ₹3.5 lakh crore rupees have reached their accounts. This effort of ours is giving respect, prosperity and new strength to the food providers," he said.
