SEBI proposes policy for sharing data for research or analysis purposes
Markets regulator SEBI on Tuesday proposed that stock exchanges and other market infrastructure institutions frame their own policy for sharing data for the purpose of research to promote data democratisation, data privacy and data accountability.
However, data shared with vendors for commercial purposes will not fall under this policy, SEBI suggested in its consultation paper.

About 1.1 million old medium & heavy CVs offer significant potential for scrappage: ICRA
Around 1.1 million medium and heavy commercial vehicles (M&HCVs), older than 15 years as of March 31 this year, offer a significant potential for scrappage, ratings agency ICRA said on Tuesday.
While the actual scrappage could possibly be lower given the nature of usage of such vehicles, even if a proportion of these vehicles gets scrapped, it can support vehicle sales to some extent by spurring replacement demand, it said.

Daewoo India eyes ₹500 crore revenue by FY27; plans to launch over 100 products
Korean brand Daewoo on Tuesday said it has set the target of achieving a revenue of ₹500 crore by FY27 from India business and plans to launch over 100 products across multiple categories.
Besides, the company is also looking to launch its own branded stores across the country, and aims to open 130 outlets by 2025-2026, it said.
Daewoo, which re-entered the Indian market in October last year, has a diverse portfolio ranging from power and energy products such as batteries, solar panels, and inverters to consumer electronics items, including LED TVs and kitchen appliances.
