Founded in 2017, DCG Cables & Wires are the manufacturer of copper cables and wires. The primary focus is on manufacturing of different types of copper cables which finds application in Transformers. Their product portfolio consists of Copper Strips, Paper Covered Copper Strips and Wires (Kraft/Crepe/Nomex/Mica) Bare Copper Wires and Strips, Copper Tapes and Fiber Glass Copper.

They are in B2B (Business to Business) Segment only. Their promoter has been in this industry since 2008 and this has helped to improve the relationships with the customers / clients for the growth of their business. The company has three manufacturing units : 

1) Odhav, Ahmedabad

2) Kubadthal, Ahmedabad 

3) Waghodia, Vadodara, 

They are currently in process of setting up a new manufacturing plant at Bhayala, Bavla, Gujarat, in order to increase the manufacturing capabilities. Their manufacturing facilities are equipped with the latest required machinery that enables them to offer products as per the specific requirements of clients along with low production cost. They are gradually planning to consolidate and shift all three existing manufacturing facilities to this new manufacturing facility for better administration, efficiency and cost optimization.

The company has shown robust growth since the commencement of business. Currently,  more than 94.81% of their sales comes from Gujarat and recently, they have started selling in Maharashtra and Karnataka states, which contributes close to 5.16% of their total sales for the period ended September 30, 2023. 

As DCG Cables & Wires Limited Prepares for its Initial Public Offering (IPO), the proceeds generated from the Fresh Issue will be allocated towards crucial objectives:

1. Capital Expenditure for building construction
2. Long-term Working capital requirement 
3. General corporate purposes.
