Oil-linked stocks: Shares of oil and gas companies, aviation, paint and tyre makers will be in focus after crude oil prices rose for a fourth consecutive session. Brent crude climbed 0.29% to $91.28 per barrel, while WTI advanced to $85.31, amid supply uncertainty over the Strait of Hormuz.

Higher crude prices are typically positive for upstream producers such as ONGC and Oil India, while they can pressure margins of oil marketing companies, airlines, paint and tyre manufacturers due to elevated input costs.

Swiggy: Shares will be in focus as the company on Tuesday received shareholders' approval to cap its aggregate foreign ownership at 49.5%, months after they rejected a similar proposal in May, paving the way for the company to qualify as an Indian-owned and controlled company (IOCC).

The shareholders approved a special resolution in this regard, Swiggy informed in a regulatory filing on Tuesday.

The Indian owned and controlled company status would allow Swiggy to directly own and sell inventory through its quick commerce brand Instamart, a move expected to improve margins and strengthen supply chain control.

Rival Blinkit, owned by Eternal, follows an inventory-led model.

ONGC: Shares will be in focus as the company successfully commissioned gas evacuation facilities at Khoraghat GGS-1 in Golaghat district, Assam, on August 18, 2026.

“The facility enables surplus associated natural gas from the Upper Assam Shelf to be processed and evacuated through the North East Gas Grid (NEGG) developed by Indradhanush Gas Grid Limited (IGGL),” the press release said.

The development complements the commissioning of the Dergaon–Dimapur Pipeline, which has connected Nagaland to the North East Gas Grid and the National Gas Grid.

The new connectivity will facilitate utilisation of nearly 1 lakh Standard Cubic Metres (SCM) of gas per day from ONGC’s Jorhat asset.

Across its business units in Rajasthan and Uttarakhand, Hindustan Zinc has continued to strengthen its renewable power generation capabilities.

During FY'26, the company generated 892 million units of green power, compared with 632 million units in FY'25.
