Raymond shares jumped 20% to hit an intraday and all-time high of ₹1,024.50 on Friday, September 11.
Raymond shares rallied 20% to hit an all-time high during the trading session on Friday, September 11, as investors focused on the strong sectoral tailwind potential for the upcoming period and the company’s latest ₹215 crore fundraising move via a warrant issue.
NSE data showed that Raymond’s stock price has been increasing for the third consecutive trading session as of Friday’s market, delivering nearly 27% gains in the last three days to investors.
On an intraday basis, Raymond shares jumped 20% to hit an intraday and all-time high of ₹1,024.50 apiece on September 11, in comparison to ₹853.85 apiece at the previous equity market close.
With trading volumes surpassing 14 million equity shares across NSE and BSE combined, investors triggered high-volume gains on Friday’s market against the backdrop of a positive revenue outlook for the sector and the company ahead of the upcoming festive season demand.
Raymond shares started their upward trend on Wednesday, September 9, as investors immediately reacted to the ₹215 crore fundraising move, which was announced after market hours on September 8.
Back in May 2025, Raymond demerged its business entity, Raymond Lifestyle, to unlock the textile business’s growth and shareholder value. Now, with the upcoming festive season in focus, investors are focusing on the potential for growth in the upcoming period.
Earlier this week, Raymond’s board of directors approved raising funds up to ₹214.71 crore through a preferential allotment on a private placement basis to Minerva Ventures Fund, subject to the necessary statutory and regulatory approvals.
“We wish to inform you that the board of directors of the company at its meeting held today, i.e., September 8, 2026, has, inter alia, approved raising of funds,” the company informed the stock exchanges.
The details of the fundraiser suggest that the company will issue 33,28,686 convertible warrants for cash at an issue price of ₹645 apiece, as per the exchange filing.
Each convertible warrant carries an entitlement to subscribe to one fully paid-up equity share of face value ₹10 each, at an issue price of ₹645/- per share. NSE filings showed that the warrants may be converted into equity shares, in one or more tranches, within a maximum period of 18 months from the date of allotment.
“Unconverted Warrants shall lapse upon the expiry of 18 months, and the upfront consideration paid towards such Warrants shall stand forfeited,” the company informed the stock exchanges.
US-based investment firm Jefferies’ analysts initiated coverage on the company’s subsidiary Raymond Lifestyles and said that the company offers a unique combination of the stability of India’s leading branded textiles franchise.
The experts also said that Raymond has growth potential from an apparel turnaround and an export-led garmenting business, with the company well-positioned to benefit from the evolving fashion and apparel opportunity in the domestic market.
“Backed by premiumisation, retail optimisation, favourable FTAs, and a strong balance sheet, we expect the company to deliver revenue/PAT CAGR of 9%/23% over FY26-29E,” said Jefferies analysts in their latest report.
In the last few years, the company’s performance was impacted by management changes, weak demand in formalwear and operational disruptions. With the new leadership in charge, Raymond is now focusing on profitability, retail optimisation, premiumisation and growth in casualwear, ethnic wear and exports.
“We believe these initiatives, coupled with a simplified corporate structure and dedicated management focus, set the stage for a gradual earnings recovery,” said Jefferies analysts.
On the risk front, the experts said that a weaker-than-expected turnaround, prolonged demand softness, or execution challenges in garmenting and retail transformation could delay the company’s earnings recovery.
Experts from ratings agency Crisil predict that the apparel retail sector's revenue growth is expected to moderate in the upcoming period, supported by strong demand for value fashion, expansion of organised retail beyond big cities, and continued preference for branded products.
Investors are also expected to focus on cotton prices and rising operating costs, which can impact the company's margins.
NSE data showed that Raymond shares have delivered more than 127% returns to investors in the last five years, but the company’s stock has lost 52% of its value in the last three-year period.
The exchange data also showed that the company’s stock has risen 59% in the past one-year period, and is up 132% on a year-to-date (YTD) basis so far in 2026.
Raymond’s stock has delivered more than 58% returns on people’s investments in the last one month, and were trading 33.5% higher over the last five market sessions on NSE.
Shares of the textile company hit its 52-week high on Friday’s market, while the 52-week low was at ₹320 apiece on March 30, 2026. The company’s market capitalisation (m-cap) was at ₹6,597 crore as of the trading session on September 11, 2026.
