Shares of Century Enka slumped up to 9.85% to an intraday low of ₹538.30 apiece on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) on Thursday, February 27, after the company reported that a fire broke out at its Gujarat-based NFY (nylon filament yarn) spinning plant in the early morning hours of Wednesday. Century Enka is a part of the Aditya Birla Group.

At the time of writing this article, KEI Industries was trading 17.85% lower at ₹3,120.05, while Polycab India shares were trading 15% lower on the NSE.
However, the stock erased all the gains and was trading lower around noon deals. Last seen, shares of the company were trading at ₹2,342.80, down 0.78%.
However, at the time of writing this article, the stock was 0.34% lower at ₹396.30 apiece on the NSE.
On Monday, February 24, INOX India, one of the leading cryogenic technology solution providers, said it has achieved a historic milestone by becoming India’s first cryogenic equipment manufacturer to receive the prestigious IATF 16949 certification for cryogenic fuel tank manufacturing. The certification, issued by Bureau Veritas Certification, covers the design and manufacturing of vacuum-insulated cryogenic fuel tanks.
Century Enka is a part of the Aditya Birla Group.
Azad Engineering's board of directors approved the qualified institutional placement (QIP) issue on Tuesday, February 25, at the floor price of ₹1,303.08 per equity share. This is nearly 4% lower than the closing price of ₹1,355.2 apiece on the NSE on Tuesday.
