Adani Group entity stocks like Adani Enterprises, Adani Ports, Adani Green Energy, and Adani Energy Solutions, among others, surged more than 4% during the trading session on Thursday, October 29, as investors focused on the positive earnings momentum from bellwether companies in the pack.
Equity investors were powering the buying sentiment on Wednesday’s market after two major Adani Group companies, namely Adani Enterprises and Adani Ports, announced their July to September quarter earnings on October 28.
While Adani Enterprises and Adani Ports were trading due to the direct impact of the quarterly earnings, other Adani Group stocks were witnessing somewhat of a spillover effect, which was adding to the investors' sentiment.
Market experts raised their targets and forward guidance on both of these companies, looking at the potential for high performance in the second half of FY27, adding to the already positive sentiment after the Q2 earnings.
The pack was also witnessing buying support, with the overall benchmark NIFTY50 and SENSEX indices trading in the green zone as oil prices witnessed a marginal ease with hopes pinned on potential peace talks between the United States and Iran in West Asia.

Analysts from global investment firm Jefferies said that Adani Enterprises’ Q2 EBITDA beat their estimates due to the strength in the company’s airports and copper business. The experts also highlighted that the airports EBITDA improved 55% despite a 6% fall in passenger traffic in the period under review.
“We raise FY27 EBITDA estimates by 4%; data centre expansion offers growth visibility,” said Jefferies analysts.
In case of Adani Ports, the analysts firm said that the Q2 EBITDA beat estimated by 4% due to the increase in international ports business and a 4% growth in domestic cargo volumes in the period.
“We raises FY27 EBITDA guidance to Rs 26,000–27,000 crore; capacity expansion to support growth,” said Jefferies analysts on Adani Ports.
In line with the outlook, JPMorgan analysts also said that the company’s earnings was powered by the overall increase in cargo and international volumes in the Septemebr quarter, which in turn leads to a higher guidance in the upcoming period.
In the Q2 earnings, Adani Group flagship company, Adani Enterprises posted a nearly 55% decline in consolidated net profits to ₹1,492 crore, in comparison to ₹3,303.71 crore in the same period a year earlier.

The firm also increased its capital expenditure (capex) guidance by ₹3,000 crore to ₹15,000-₹17,000 crore as it looks towards its 2031 goals.
The company attributed this increase to strong performance in the first half of FY27.
