HCLTech: IT firm HCLTech on Monday reported a 21.18% rise in consolidated net profit to ₹5,132 crore for the July-September quarter of FY27, helped by higher margins from its fast-growing advanced AI operations and a lower tax outgo.

The Noida-headquartered company narrowed its FY27 revenue growth forecast to 2.5-4% in constant currency from 1-4% earlier.

Its CEO and MD C Vijayakumar said the guidance was backed by strong bookings, a healthy deal pipeline, and momentum in AI-led services.

The company had posted a net profit (attributable to owners of the company) of ₹4,235 crore in the year-ago period, according to a regulatory filing.

HCLTech’s revenue from operations rose 11.5% to ₹35,620 crore from ₹31,942 crore in Q2 FY26.

Oil-sensitives: Oil-linked stocks will remain in focus as crude oil prices ease slightly after rising nearly $2 a barrel in the previous session. Brent crude futures fell 0.57% to $106.04 a barrel, while US West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude futures declined 0.5% to $93.27 a barrel.

While supply risks following attacks on Saudi Arabia continue to support prices, the prospect of additional Russian diesel supplies could ease tightness in global fuel markets.

Elevated crude prices remain a concern for oil marketing companies (OMCs), as they can increase under-recoveries if higher input costs are not fully passed on to consumers.

Upstream oil producers such as ONGC and Oil India, however, could benefit from higher crude prices, while aviation and paint companies may face cost pressures.
