The earnings season commenced in the second week of July

A slew of major listed entities, including Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL), which is India's largest company in terms of market capitalisation, will release their results for the first quarter (April-June) of fiscal year 2024-25 on Friday, July 19.

IT major Wipro is also among the companies that will post their Q1 earnings today. The list further includes country's leading steel producer JSW Steel and the state-run oil marketing company Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd (BPCL).

One97 Communications, the parent of payments services provider Paytm, will also be releasing its June quarter results, along with private insurer ICICI Lombard General Insurance Company, multiplex chain operator PVR Inox and defence manufacturer BEML.

Union Bank of India, Oberoi Realty, Aether Industries, Tejas Network, and Patanjali Foods are among other major companies that will post their quarterly earnings report today.

On Thursday, leading IT services provider Infosys declared its results for the June 2024 quarter. The company's consolidated net profit during the three-month period climbed by 7.1% year-on-year to ₹6,368 crore, as against ₹5,945 crore in the year-ago period.

The consolidated revenue from operations rose 3.6% to ₹39,315 crore in the June quarter as against ₹37,933 crore in the same period last year.
