Gold rates in the cities on November 3, 2026; indicative price, before making charges and GST
NCR retail prices move with the Delhi rates, rather than independently. So the same ₹510 and ₹470 per 10 gram gains recorded in 24 and 22 karat on Tuesday apply across the three cities. The region is still recovering from a 3.51% single-session fall on October 31, and remains about ₹12,000 per 10 grams below October's peak.

The practical difference between the three cities is not the rate but the making charge. Mall showrooms in Noida and Gurugram routinely quote 12 to 18% on design-led collections, while stand-alone shops in older Ghaziabad markets often work at 8 to 10% on plain chains and bangles. On a 10 gram 22 karat purchase, that gap can be ₹5,000 or more, which is usually larger than any rate advantage a buyer may negotiate.

Please note that the gold rates above are indicative and the rate at a particular store may differ. So check rates at several shops on your own. The final payment will also be higher than the karat-based price because making charges and 3% GST are added. For example, 10 grams of 22 karat gold at 10% making charges attracts GST of ₹4,221, taking the total to about ₹1,44,922.

One should compare making charges across stores, ask for the charge in rupees rather than a percentage so the arithmetic is visible. Buyers should also confirm a BIS hallmark with a six-digit HUID on every piece. That discipline can make the festival purchase a happy Dhanteras and Diwali one.
