Gold rates in Hyderabad on November 3, 2026; indicative, before making charges and GST
The city's rate sits ₹15 per 10 grams below Delhi's, a difference small enough to be erased by a single showroom's pricing. Tuesday brought a gain of ₹510 per 10 grams in 24 karat and ₹470 in 22 karat gold, following a 3.51% fall on October 31. Against October's peak, gold is still roughly ₹12,000 per 10 grams cheaper.

Hyderabad's buying pattern is distinctive. Traditional kadas, necklaces and temple sets are almost always 22 karat, while the pearl, ruby and emerald work the city is known for are usually set in 18 karat gold in which the harder alloy holds stones securely.

Buyers weighing a stone-studded piece against a plain one should note that the two are quoted on different base rates, so a straight per-gram comparison can be misleading.

Please note that the rates above are indicative. Actual quotes can vary from store to store. So, you should compare rates at more than one jeweller yourself. The amount you finally pay will also be higher than the karat-based price because making charges and 3% are added on top. For instance, 10 grams of 22 karat at 12% making charges can attract GST of ₹4,293, taking the total to about ₹1,47,384.

Making charges are worth negotiating and comparing as hard as the rate. Every jewellery piece should come with a BIS hallmark and HUID number that matches the bill.
