Waaree Energies, NTPC Green, Premier Energies, Adani Green, Suzlon Energy: Here's how renewable energy stocks are performing on Nov 26

Shares of renewable energy players like Waree Energies, Adani Green Energy, NTPC Green Energy, Premier Energies and Suzlon Energy were trading in the positive territory on Wednesday, November 26.

Waaree Energies share price

On November 15, the company informed that its wholly owned subsidiary Sangam Solar One has set up two solar module line manufacturing facilities having an annual capacity of 750 MW each, totalling 1500 MW, at its factory at Samakhiali-Kutch and has commenced operations at such facility.

NTPC Green share price

Shares of NTPC Green Energy were trading at ₹95.76 per unit, up 1.07%, on the NSE.

Last week, Ayana Renewable Power Pvt Ltd, a wholly owned unit of ONGC NTPC Green Pvt Ltd (a 50:50 JV between NTPC Green Energy and ONGC Green), secured a 140 MW Round The Clock RE Project in the REMC Tender.

On November 19, the company's subsidiary NTPC Green Energy signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with The Singareni Collieries Company for the development of renewable energy projects.

Adani Green Energy share price

The Adani Green Energy stock is up 2.07% to ₹1,032.5 per unit on NSE.

In an exchange filing on November 14, the company said that it intends to invest ₹15,000 crore to establish two Pumped Storage Plants (PSPs) in Assam with a combined capacity of 2,700 MW. Adani Green also received a Letter of Award (LoA) for 500 MW of energy storage capacity, which will be catered from the above PSPs.

Suzlon Energy share price

Suzlon Energy shares advanced 2.25% to ₹55.41 per unit on the NSE. It has a market capitalisation of ₹75,990.19 crore.

In the September quarter of the current financial year, the company had posted a 539% increase in its consolidated net profit to ₹1,279.44 crore as compared to ₹200.2 crore a year back. Its revenue surged 84.68% year-on-year (YoY) to ₹3,865.54 crore.
