Waaree Energies, Adani Green, NTPC Green Energy, Suzlon: Here's how renewable energy stocks are performing on December 24

Renewable energy stocks, including Waaree Energies, Adani Green Energy, NTPC Green Energy and Suzlon Energy, were trading in the positive territory on Wednesday, December 24.

Waaree Energies share price

The stock is trading marginally higher at ₹3,098 apiece, up 0.05%, on the National Stock Exchange at 9:45 am.

On Tuesday, the company, in an exchange filing, announced that its wholly owned subsidiary Waaree Forever Energies Private Limited has incorporated ten wholly owned subsidiaries.

Adani Green Energy share price

Earlier this month, the company, via its various stepdown subsidiaries, had operationalised an aggregate 200 megawatt (MW) power projects at Khavda, Gujarat. With the commissioning of these plants, Adani Green's total operational renewable generation capacity has climbed to 16,929.8 MW.

NTPC Green share price

Last week, the company, in a regulatory filing, informed that the fifth part capacity of 37.925 MW out of the 300 MW Khavda Solar Energy Project under the 450 MW Hybrid Tranche V Project of NTPC Renewable Energy Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of NTPC Green Energy, was declared in commercial operation with effect from December 18.

Suzlon Energy share price

The stock advanced 0.97% to ₹54.13 per unit on the NSE. Its market capitalisation stands at ₹74,293.14 crore.

Last week, the company announced that it has extended its partnership with renewable power firm Yanara with the signing of two new wind contracts of 153 MW each for Yanara’s firm and dispatchable renewable energy (FDRE) projects in Barmer, Rajasthan.
