Renewable energy stocks were trading mixed on Monday, August 10. Shares of Waaree Energies, Adani Green Energy and Suzlon Energy were down.

In contrast, NTPC Green Energy and Premier Energies were up.

Waaree Energies

Shares of Waaree Energies were down 0.40% to ₹2,706.10 apiece on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) at 10:10 am.

Its market capitalisation stands at ₹77,875.85 crore.

On Friday, the company's wholly-owned subsidiary Waaree Clean Energy Solutions Pvt Ltd incorporated a wholly-owned unit, WCES Two Pvt Ltd, to supply green hydrogen.

Premier Energies

The stock of Premier Energies were trading 0.43% higher at ₹1,051.70 per share on the NSE.

In the latest June quarter, the company reported a 34.1% year-on-year increase in revenue to ₹2,507.6 crore. Its net profit rose 53.3% to ₹471.9 crore.

During the quarter, the firm produced 844 MW of solar cells, 953 MW of solar modules, and 570 MVA of transformers.

Commenting on the results, Chiranjeev Saluja, Managing Director of the company, said, "We are pleased to report another quarter of strong results. The successful inauguration of our 5.6 GW Seetharampur module facility and the rapid progress at our 7 GW Naidupeta solar cell plant reinforce our commitment to expanding domestic manufacturing capabilities and supporting government’s Make in India vision. We are expecting a significant boost in our operating and financial performance over the next year as these new facilities come online and help us deliver industry leading margins."

Adani Green Energy

Shares of Adani Green Energy were trading 0.78% lower at ₹1,361.70 apiece on the NSE.

The stock had hit its 52-week high of ₹1,631.50 per share on July 14, 2026, while its year's low of ₹765 apiece was recorded on January 23, 2026.

The scrip has declined 2.30% in the past week and 11.30% in a month. Year-to-date, it rose 32.85%.

NRPC Green Energy

Shares of NTPC Green Energy were up 0.63% to 92.10 per unit on the NSE.

On Friday, the company emerged as a successful bidder in the e-reverse auction conducted by the West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Ltd (WBSEDCL) to develop Standalone Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects in the state. The tender aimed at establishing 500 MW/ 2000 MWh of standalone BESS capacity through a Tariff-Based Competitive Bidding (TBCB) process.
