Waaree Energies, ACME Solar, NTPC Green, Adani Green: How renewable energy stocks are performing on Feb 19

Renewable energy stocks: Renewable energy stocks, including Waaree Energies, NTPC Green Energy,, ACME Solar Holding and Adani Green Energy, were trading in the negative territory on Thursday, February 19.

Waaree Energies share price

Earlier this month, the company's wholly owned arm, Waaree Solar Americas Inc., had received an order for the supply of 150 MW solar modules from a renowned international customer involved in solar power development.

ACME Solar share price

"The PPA requires supplying power with minimum annual Capacity Utilisation Factor (CUF) of 50% and an obligation to meet 80% of peak power requirement on daily basis. Connectivity for all the components of this project - solar, wind and BESS have been secured," the company said in an exchange filing.

NTPC Green Energy share price

On February 9, the company declared commercial operation of the "eleventh part capacity of 14.43 MW out of 1255 MW Khavda-I Solar PV Project located in Gujarat under CPSU scheme Phase-II Tranche-III of NTPC Renewable Energy Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of NTPC Green Energy Limited."

Adani Green Energy share price

On February 17, the company's wholly-owned subsidiary Adani Renewable Energy Holding Eleven Limited incorporated a wholly-owned unit, namely, Skyspin Energy Ltd (SEL). "The main objective of SEL is to generate, develop, transform, distribute, transmit, sale, supply any kind of power or electrical energy using wind energy, solar energy or other renewable sources of energy," according to an exchange filing.
