Renewable energy stocks, including Waaree Energies, ACME Solar Holdings and NTPC Green Energy, were trading in the positive territory on Monday, April 13.

The rise in green energy stocks comes even as SENSEX and NIFTY tumble as the failure of US–Iran negotiations heightened concerns of an extended conflict driving crude oil prices sharply higher.

ACME Solar Holdings

Shares of ACME Solar Holding rose 5.17% to ₹282.55 apiece on the NSE at 11:28 am after financial services company HSBC initiated coverage of the renewable energy solutions provider. HSBC said that it expects ACME Solar Holdings to benefit from a robust project pipeline, strong capacity additions and enhanced visibility into cash flows as execution picks up.

Waaree Energies

The stock of Waaree Energies were trading at ₹3,363.70, up 2.51%, on the NSE. Last week, Sangam Solar One Private Limited, a wholly owned unit

of the company established four solar module line manufacturing facilities having an annual capacity of 750 MW each, totalling 3000 MW per annum capacity at its Gujarat factory. The commercial operations at the facility commenced on April 6.

NTPC Green Energy

Shares of NTPC Green Energy were up 7.55% to ₹104.51 per unit on the NSE. Its market capitalisation stands at ₹88,181.54 crore.

Intraday, the scrip rose as much as 8.21% to ₹105.15.

The scrip had hit its 52-week high of ₹117.64 per share on May 22, 2025, while its 52-week low of ₹84 apiece was recorded on March 2, 2026.

Adani Green Energy

Adani Green Energy shares were trading at ₹1,092.70 per share, reflecting an increase of 0.63%, on the NSE. Last week, the company said that its wholly-owned subsidiary Adani Renewable Energy Middle East Ltd has signed a joint venture agreement with Minerva Holding RSZ for Minerva Renewables Holding RSC Limited.
