Bandhan Bank: Shares of Bandhan Bank surged as much as 11.58% to hit a high of ₹209.50 apiece on the BSE on Friday, October 12.

The investors rejoiced and welcomed the news that the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has granted its prior approval to the bank for the appointment of Partha Pratim Sengupta as the MD and CEO of the bank for a period of three years.

Cummins India: The stock was down 5% at ₹3,592 on the BSE as Goldman Sachs, as per reports, has raised concerns regarding the company's prospects.

"The CPCB-IV transition has made diesel gensets 15-25% more expensive, and with competitors introducing more SKUs in high KVA gensets, Goldman Sachs does expect incremental market share gains for Cummins, but that may happen at the expense of profitability," said a report by CNBC-TV18.

Moreover, a weak macroeconomic environment and stringent emission norms are likely to limit export growth rates for the company, the global brokerage notes.
