TVS Motor Company Limited has announced a partnership with CSC Grameen eStores to promote its commercial vehicle line, specifically its three-wheelers. As part of the deal, CSC Village Level Entrepreneurs (VLEs) will serve as a touchpoint for TVS Motor’s commercial vehicles. VLEs will handle enquiries, facilitate purchases, oversee test drives and coordinate vehicle deliveries in collaboration with the TVS three-wheeler dealer network.

Shares of TVS Motor Company gained 1.13% to reach ₹2,463 apiece in the early morning trade on the NSE on Monday, June 24. Opening the session at ₹2,435.40, the automaker’s shares hit an intraday day high of ₹2,463. At around 12.30 pm, the stock was trading at ₹2,440 apiece, a gain of 0.20%.

CSC Grameen eStore was launched by CSC eGov, an enterprise established with the backing of the Government of India to digitally empower the country’s citizens.

VLEs being integrated into their respective ecosystems will ensure that as our first touchpoints, they are able to explain the product proposition in a language and environment that customers are familiar with.”

The TVS commercial vehicle lineup, including the TVS King Deluxe, TVS King Duramax, TVS King Duramax Plus, and TVS King Kargo, is set to be featured on the CSC e-store this weekend, said the company in the exchange filing.

Avani Kapoor, senior vice-president, and business head, of CSC Grameen eStore, said, “With a mission of ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat,’ our aim is to bring world-class products to rural areas. With TVS on the platform, VLEs get a wonderful portfolio of 3-wheelers to sell and customers get a great proposition to buy. We couldn’t have been more pleased.”
