Top gainers and losers on June 13: Adani Ports, ITC, State Bank of India shares fall over 1.5%; check full list

The Indian equity benchmarks fell for second straight session on Friday weighed on the back of weak global cues and surge in crude oil prices as geopolitical tensions escalated in Middle East after Israel attack Iran's nuclear and military establishments. The SENSEX fell as much as 1,337 points and NIFTY50 index touched an intraday low of 24,473 but indices pared losses partially in noon deals. The SENSEX ended 573 points or 0.7% lower at 81,119 and NIFTY50 index dropped 170 points to close at 24,719.

As many as 38 shares in the NIFTY50 index ended lower while 11 ended higher. Adani Ports was top loser in the NIFTY50 index, the stock fell 2.27% to close at ₹1,406 amid rising tensions between Iran and Israel could impact operations at its port in Haifa, Israel.

ITC (-1.67%), State Bank of India (-1.57%), Hindalco (-1.49%) and Adani Enterprises (-1.43%) were also among the losers.

On the flipside, Bharat Electronics surged 2% to close at ₹395 mirroring gains in other defence shares. ONGC (1.28%), Tech Mahindra (0.83%), Tata Consultancy Services (0.38%) and Wipro (0.38%) were also among the gainers.

NIFTY Midcap 100 gainers and losers

NFITY Midcap 100 index declined 0.4% or 213 points to close at 58,227. As many as 67 shares in the NIFTY Midcap 100 index ended lower while 33 closed higher.

IREDA was top loser in the NIFTY Midcap 100 index, the stock fell 4.33% to close at ₹168. NMDC (-2.65%), Union Bank of India (-2.60%), Exide Industries (-2.32%) and Adani Total Gas (-1.86%) were also among the losers.

On the other hand, Max Healthcare was top gainer in the NIFTY Midcap 100 index, the stock rose 2.85% to close at ₹1,236 its all-time high and mirroring gains in other hospital shares.

Oil India (2.17%), Cochin Shipyard (2.13%), Jubilant FoodWorks (2.12%) and Glenmark (2.10%) were also among the gainers.

NIFTY Smallcap 100 gainers and losers

NIFTY Smallcap 100 index fell 0.5% or 90 points to settle at 18,375. As many as 68 shares in the index ended lower.

Tata Teleservices was top loser in the NIFTY Smallcap 100 index, the stock fell 6.31% to close at ₹72. Reliance Power (-3.54%), Swan Energy (-3.21%), Angel One (-3.07%) and Railtel Corporation (-3.03%) were also among the losers.

On the contrary, Narayana Hrudayalaya was top gainer in the NIFTY Smallcap 100 index, the stock rose 4.94% to close at record high of ₹1,914.50 mirroring gains in other hospital shares.

Zen Technologies (4.36%), Manappuram Finance (3.32%), Garden Reach Shipbuilders and Engineers (3.15%) and Karur Vysya Bank (2.88%) were also among the gainers.
