Bata India, and ABB.
Sun Pharma:
Sun Pharmaceuticals Ltd. announced on Saturday that the US District Court of New Jersey has granted a preliminary injunction preventing it from launching its new drug, Leqselvi, until further legal developments or the expiry of the patent at the center of the lawsuit.
TVS Motor Company: TVS Motor Company announced a 13% surge in its monthly sales, which grew to 4.89 lakh units in October 2024 compared to 4.35 lakh units reported in the year-ago month.
Zen Technologies: The company's net profit in the September quarter surged from ₹15.3 crore last year to ₹62.6 crore this year, marking a 309% increase. Revenue rose from ₹66.5 crore to ₹241.8 crore, representing a 263% growth.
EBITDA jumped from ₹19 crore to ₹80 crore, while the profit margin improved to 33.1%, compared to 28.4% last year.
Oil-linked stocks such as OMCs, paint, tyre, and upstream companies, among others, will trade actively today. MOIL: The company has fixed/revised prices of different grades of Manganese Ore and other products, effective from November 1.
For instance, the prices of all Ferro grades of manganese ore with Manganese content of Mn-44% and above have been decreased by 7% on the prevailing prices.
HUL: The company has, on November 1, 2024, completed the sale and divestment of its water purification business carried under the brand ‘Pureit’.
NBCC: NBCC has bagged multiple orders worth ₹235 crore from Power Grid, Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith University, Varanasi, and Sampurnanand Sanskrit University, Varanasi.
NMDC: The state-owned miner's iron ore production increased by 3.83% to 4.07 million tonnes (MT) in October 2024 as against 3.92 MT produced in October 2023. Iron ore sales in October 2024 stood at 4.03 MT, registering a growth of 17.15% as compared to 3.44 MT recorded in the same period a year ago.
Sequentially, the PSU miner's iron ore production jumped by 33.88%, and iron ore sales grew by 13.84% in October 2024.
OMCs, aviation: Oil marketing companies (OMCs) such as Indian Oil Corporation (IOCL), BPCL, and HPCL are expected to trade actively today as the companies have revised prices of ATF and cooking gas. Jet fuel, or ATF, price on Friday was hiked by 3.3%, and the rate of commercial LPG used in hotels and restaurants increased by ₹62 per 19 kg cylinder in the monthly revision done in line with international oil price trends.
