Companies like JSW Steel, Lenskart Solutions, and Oracle Financial Services Software (OFSS) are among top five Nifty 500 stocks nearing their 52-week high level as of Wednesday, August 19, with increased foreign investor interest in the June quarter of FY27.
Here is the list of top five Nifty 500 stocks that are near or acheived their year-high level on Wednesday as foreign institutional investors (FIIs) increase their stakeholdings on a quarter-on-quarter basis in the April to June quarter of current fiscal year.
NSE data showed that JSW Steel share price were trading around ₹1,273 apiece on Wednesday’s market, which is a little over 4% away from the company’s existing 52-week high level of ₹1,335.
The company shares surged to their 52-week high of ₹₹1,335 apiece earlier this month in August 6, 2026.
With an increased interest from foreign investors in JSW Steel stock, the overall shareholding of FII’s increased by 0.54% to its level of 25.92% in the quarter ended June 2026, in comparison to 25.38% in the quarter ended March 2026.
After the strong Q1 financial performance registering more than double growth in net profits and a 10% rise in revenues, the investors were focusing on the iron and steel maker’s India productions increasing 4% YoY to 23.39 lakh tonnes in July 2026, from 2.55 lakh tonnes a year earlier.
Shriram Finance shares trading around ₹1,105 apiece on Wednesday’s market, remains around 4% away from the company’s existing 52-week high levels, which was achieved back on August 6, 2026.
According to NSE holdings data, foreign investors increased their stake in the company by 9.6% in the April to June quarter to 54.75%, in comparison to 45.15% in the quarter ended March 2026.
The non-banking financial company (NBFC) recorded a 60% rise in its Q1 net profits, with the help of a 34% surge in interest income and a 16% overall rise in revenues for the period.
Although the NBFC company’s management acknowledged that the NII growth was temporarily supported due to the surplus liquidity from capital infusion, the forward guidance highlights that the benefit will gradually reduce and operational NIM is expected to hold at around 8.5%.
The management remains focused on new vehicle disbursement, recapturing the previous customer strategy and existing customer upgrades.

With Lenskart shares touching ₹644.95 apiece on August 19, the company was able to secure a fresh 52-week high on Wednesday’s market, according to NSE data. Before the company shares reached this level, they were trading around 1% away from their previous year-highs.
Lenskart is among the top five Nifty 500 companies which witnessed rising foreign investor interest in the June quarter of FY27. Data further showed that FIIs increased their holdings in the company’s stock by 8.5% to 12.76% in the April to June quarter, compared to a 4.26% holding in the quarter ended March 2026.
On the earnings front, the eyewear solutions provider posted a 269% growth in Q1 profits with a 43% surge in overall revenues for the period. The data further showed that the company’s EBITDA margins expanded to 21.7%, from 18% in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
The latest update from the company showed that Lenskart has set up a subsidiary in China named Wenzhou Framekart Trade Co. Ltd, which will be producing eyewear and allied optical products, including related parts, materials, equipment and technology.
Oracle Financial Services Software (OFSS) shares were trading around ₹11,725 per share on Wednesday’s market, indicating that the IT services stock is around 2% away from hitting a fresh 52-week high.
The company shares surged to a 52-week high of ₹11,979 last month on July 20, 202 6, according to NSE data.
The shareholding data also showed that foreign investors increased their holdings in the firm by 1.66% in the quarter ended June 2026 to 9.7%, from their 8.04% holding level in the quarter ended March 2026.
OFSS recorded strong growth in Q1 earnings, with the consolidated net profit rising 121% YoY, while the revenue from core operations increased 69% in the period under review. The company’s software and product services business recorded strong growth in the June quarter earnings report.
While the leadership transition remains in focus, the company’s business segments and deal wins will be in key focus of investors amid the overall resilient demand in the market.
Shares of Laurus Labs were trading around ₹1,798 apiece which indicates that the company’s stock is only 4% away from surpassing to a new 52-week high on the stock market.
NSE data showed that Laurus Labs shares hit their 52-week high of ₹1,870.80 on August 10, 2026.
On the FII holdings front, data showed that foreign investors increased their stake in the company by 2.18% to their current level of 28% in the quarter ended June 2026, in comparison to 15.24% in the quarter ended March 2026.
The company posted a strong growth in Q1 earnings with profits rising to ₹368 crore in the period under review, from earlier ₹163 crore levels, while the reevnues recorded 29% You gains.
However, key concerns still remain as the company margins can be affected due to the ongoing global conflict in West Asia. Laurus Labs management expects the pharma company’s CDMO mix shift to rise characterised by the late-stage pipeline moving towards commercialisation.
Other than the top five, there are two other companies, namely Aurobindo Pharmaceuticals and Federal Bank, which fall under the same category of stocks based on their current price levels on the stock exchanges.
Data showed that FIIs increased their holdings in Aurobindo Pharma by 1.14% in the June quarter to 16.38% holding of the total outstanding shares, compared to their earlier holdings of 15.24%.
In the case of Federal Bank, the FIIs purchased a 1.66% stake in the June quarter, resulting in the overall FII holdings increasing to 27.71%, when compared sequentially with the earlier 26.05% level in the quarter ended March of FY26.
