The stock saw buying interest in a weak market as it informed the exchanges that it received a certificate of completion from the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) on September 23, 2026, for an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) project, according to a regulatory filing.

H.G. Infra Engineering was awarded the EPC contract for the ₹1,393.11 crore Delhi Urban Extension Road-II (UER-II) project in July 2021, and the project was declared fit for entry into commercial operation on February 28, 2025.

The project was for the development of a “6-lane urban extension road (UER) -II - NH- 344 M, Package 1 (from NH 1 to Karala-Kanjhawala Road, Km (-) 0+700 to 15+000) in the State of Delhi on EPC mode”.

The project was completed as per the schedule, H.G. Infra Engineering further stated in the filing.

H.G. Infra Engineering Q1 results

The company reported a consolidated net loss of ₹45.14 crore in the April-June quarter of the 2026-27 financial year (Q1 FY27), compared with a profit of ₹98.82 crore in the corresponding period of the preceding fiscal year.

Its consolidated revenue from operations declined by 25.75% year-on-year (YoY) to ₹1,100.59 crore during the quarter under review, as against ₹1,482.20 crore in the first quarter of the 2025-26 fiscal year (Q1 FY26).

Its order book stood at ₹14,502 crore as of June 30, 2026, the regulatory filing read.

H.G. Infra Engineering stock performance

At around 1:51 PM, the shares of H.G. Infra Engineering were trading 11.38% higher at ₹502 per unit.

While the scrip has advanced 9% over the week, it has fallen 32% on a year-to-date basis (YTD).

The stock hit a 52-week high of ₹1,014 per equity share on September 23, 2025, and a year’s low of ₹429.50 apiece on March 30, 2026.
