Ceigall India shares soar 5% on receiving an LoI for a project worth ₹5,300 crore; check details

At around 2:39 PM, the stock was trading 1.06% higher at ₹344.20 per equity share. The scrip has gained more than 1% in the past week and 27% on a year-to-date (YTD) basis.

While the shares hit a 52-week high of ₹405.70 per unit on June 30, 2026, they touched a year’s low of ₹222.61 apiece on December 9, 2025.

According to a regulatory filing, Ceigall India said that it received a letter of intent (LoI) for a common transmission system for evacuation of power from Lakadia (Phase II: 7.5GW), Jam Khambhaliya (Phase-II: 5.5GW) and Jamnagar (Phase-I: 1GW) - Part-B.

Under the terms of the tariff-based contract agreement, the order has a work execution period of 36 months and an operational period of 35 years.

The order, worth ₹608.67 crore annually for 35 years (annual transmission charges), has a total project cost of approximately ₹5,300 crore (inclusive of GST).

Recent update

In a regulatory filing dated August 31, the company’s special purpose vehicle (SPV) and wholly owned subsidiary, Ceigall Green Energy MH2 Limited, successfully commissioned its first 5 megawatt (MW) solar power plant at Ranjangaon Deshmukh, Taluka Kopargaon, District Ahilyanagar, Maharashtra.

The power plant was commissioned well ahead of the scheduled date, Ceigall said, adding that it is thereby eligible for the applicable incentive under the Mukhyamantri Saur Krushi Vahini Yojana 2.0 (MSKVY 2.0).
