PC Jeweller shares rally nearly 6% as company clears over 96% of remaining debt; all you need to know

PC Jeweller shares rallied 5.5% on Thursday, September 3, to touch an intraday high of ₹10.75 apiece after the company said it has successfully cleared and repaid all its outstanding debt with respect to one more bank.

The jewellery firm in a regulatory filing said that with this, the company has now repaid all the outstanding debt of 9 out of the 14 consortium banks, with all repayments completed ahead of scheduled due dates.

Further, PC Jeweller has discharged more than 96% of the outstanding debt of the remaining five banks as well.

“The company remains firmly on track to discharge the remaining less than 4% of the outstanding debt of the remaining 5 banks and achieve a debt-free status in the current month itself, which will materially strengthen its balance sheet and financial position,” it said in a statement.

Last month, while announcing its June quarter earnings (Q1 FY27), PC Jeweller informed that it has fully repaid and discharged the debt of 7 out of 14 consortium banks as of date.

The company in July has also said it continues to progress rapidly towards its goal of becoming debt-free.

PC Jeweller Q1 FY27 earnings

PC Jeweller had reported a 37% increase in its consolidated net profit to ₹222 crore for the quarter ended June on better revenue and said the company will become debt-free in the current quarter. Its net profit stood at ₹161.93 crore in the year-ago period.

Its total income rose to ₹879.27 crore in Q1 FY27 from ₹807.88 crore in the corresponding period of the preceding year.

The jewellery retailer’s operating profit or earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) climbed 90% to ₹242 crore in the reporting quarter from ₹127 crore in the same quarter of the previous fiscal year.

PC Jeweller share price trends

At 2:30 PM, PC Jeweller shares were trading at ₹10.63 apiece on the National Stock Exchange, gaining 4.42%.

From the beginning of the year, PC Jeweller shares have gained 14%. Over a month’s time, the stock has surged 10%, while for a six-month period, it has jumped 18%.

Shares of the firm had hit a 52-week high of ₹15.38 on September 17, 2025, and a 52-week low of ₹7.47 on March 30, 2026.

According to NSE data, as of September 3, 2026, PC Jeweller has a total market capitalisation of ₹10,332.01 crore.
