CDSL declares record date for ₹12.75 per share final dividend issue; details here

Capital markets stock, Central Depository Services (India) Ltd or CDSL’s board of directors, on Thursday, June 25, informed the stock exchanges that the company has fixed the official record date for its final dividend issue of ₹12.75 per share for the financial year ended 2025-26, according to an exchange filing.

As per the NSE filing, CDSL has fixed Friday, July 17, 2026, as the official record date to determine the eligibility of shareholders for the final dividend payment.

“In terms of Regulation 42 of SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, the company has fixed Friday, July 17, 2026, as the ‘record date’ for the purpose of determining the shareholders eligible to receive dividend for the financial year 2025-26,” the company informed the stock exchanges.

The company also disclosed that the dividend payment will be paid to all the eligible shareholders within 30 days from the upcoming annual meeting.

After the company’s quarterly board meeting at the beginning of May 2026, the board announced a ₹12.75 per share dividend issue with a face value of ₹10 per share if approved in the 28th annual general meeting of the firm.

If approved, all eligible shareholders will receive a ₹12.75 per share dividend payment up to one day ahead of the pre-determined record date of the corporate action.

Historical data showed that August 7, 2025, was the last time the company paid a ₹12.50 per share dividend issue to shareholders.

CDSL share performance

CDSL shares closed 1.1% lower at ₹1,317 after the trading session on Thursday, compared to ₹1,331.70 at the previous market close, according to NSE data. The company announced the record date during the market operating hours on June 25.

Shares of CDSL have delivered more than 171% returns to investors in the last five years, and more than 154% gains in the last three years, according to the exchange data. The company's shares have lost 24% in the last one year period.

So far in the calendar year 2026, CDSL shares have dropped nearly 9%, but the company’s stock was trading 8% higher over the last one month. The shares were trading 2.4% lower over the last five market sessions.

The company’s market capitalisation (m-cap) was at ₹27,525 crore as of the stock market close on Thursday, June 25, 2026.
