Renewable energy stocks were trading mixed on Tuesday, September 1. Shares of Waaree Energies, Premier Energies, ACME Solar and Suzlon Energy were down.

Conversely, shares of Adani Green Energy and NTPC Green Energy were trading in the positive territory.

Waaree Energies' scrip was down 0.48% to ₹2,592.60 apiece on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) at 11:13 am.

Last week, the company approved consolidating its manufacturing facilities through relocation of plant and machinery from the Nandigram (1.11 GW) and Tumb (1.0 GW) manufacturing units to the firm's existing manufacturing facility at Chikhli, Gujarat.

The firm also approved capital expenditure of around US$ 37 million by wholly owned unit Waaree Solar Americas Inc to revamp its manufacturing facility at Arizona, USA.

The revamp includes replacement of the existing module production lines with new high-efficiency module manufacturing lines, which will increase WSA's manufacturing capacity at Arizona from 1 to 1.6 GW.

"Upon completion, the company's aggregate manufacturing capacity in the United States will increase to 4.8 GW, comprising 3.2 GW at Texas and 1.6 GW at Arizona. The said capital expenditure will be funded through a mix of debt and internal accruals," Waaree Energies said in an exchange filing.

Shares of Adani Green Energy were trading 3.79% higher at ₹1,260.20 apiece on the NSE.

The stock had hit its 52-week high of ₹1,631.50 per share on July 14, 2026, while its year's low of ₹765 apiece was recorded on January 23, 2026.

The scrip has declined 4.89% in the past week and 8.54% in a month. Year-to-date, it gained 23.30%.

ACME Solar Holdings stock were trading 0.61% lower at ₹399.50 a unit on the NSE. Last week, the company had secured a letter of Award from Solar Energy Corporation of India Ltd for 300 megawatt (MW) contracted capacity, secured under SECI’s 6,000 MWh (1,500 MW × 4 Hours) Assured Peak Power Tender (FDRE-IX).

NTPC Green Energy advanced 0.18% to ₹89.67 per unit, while Premier Energies fell 0.98% to ₹1,026.10. Similarly, Suzlon Energies shares descended 1.41% to ₹46.85.
