Q1 FY25 results on July 31, 2024.

An array of companies, including automaker Maruti Suzuki, steel producer Tata Steel, power generation equipment manufacturer Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) and pharmaceutical major Mankind Pharma, will release their financial results for the first quarter of fiscal year 2024-25 (FY25) on Wednesday, July 31.
Adani Power, Bank of Baroda, Bansal Wire, Zee Entertainment, Ambuja Cements, Coal India, IIFL Securities, Thomas Cook (India), Mahindra & Mahindra, JK Lakshmi Cement and Timex Group will also release their June quarter earnings today.

On Tuesday, Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) reported an 81% drop in June quarter standalone net profit to ₹2,643.1 crore as against ₹13,750.4 crore in the year-ago period, the company said in a stock exchange filing.

While the company earned $6.39 on turning every barrel of crude oil into fuel in Q1 FY25 ($8.34 per barrel gross refining margin last year), its pre-tax earnings from downstream fuel retailing businesses slumped 77% to ₹4,299.96 crore.
