Aditya Birla Sun Life Dynamic Term Fund announces IDCW record date

The trustees of Aditya Birla Sun Life Mutual Fund have approved September 30, 2026, as the record date for declaration of distribution under the Income Distribution cum Capital Withdrawal (IDCW) option of Aditya Birla Sun Life Dynamic Term Fund, subject to availability of distributable surplus on the record date.

The IDCW amount on the face value of ₹10 per unit will be ₹0.1329 under the Direct Plan – Quarterly IDCW and ₹0.1291 under the Regular Plan – Quarterly IDCW.

Franklin Templeton files draft papers for Balanced Hybrid Fund

Franklin Templeton Asset Management (India) has filed draft papers with SEBI for the Franklin India Balanced Hybrid Fund.

The proposed open-ended scheme will invest in equity and debt instruments, with the Nifty 50 Hybrid Composite Debt 50:50 Index as its benchmark. The scheme aims to provide growth and income over the short to medium term.

Nippon India Mutual Fund launches new gilt ETF

Nippon India Mutual Fund has launched the Nippon India CRISIL-IBX FAR Gilt ETF, an open-ended scheme investing in constituents of the CRISIL-IBX FAR Gilt Index.

The NFO opens for subscription on September 29, 2026, and closes on October 12, 2026. The minimum subscription amount is ₹1,000 and there is no entry or exit load.

The scheme will be benchmarked against the CRISIL-IBX FAR Gilt Index and will be managed by Pranay Sinha and Vivek Sharma.

LIC Mutual Fund appoints Ashis Kumar as MD and CEO

LIC Mutual Fund Asset Management has appointed Ashis Kumar as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, effective September 26, 2026.

Kumar was earlier the Chief Operating Officer of the AMC. He ceased to hold the COO position from the close of business hours on September 25 following his appointment as MD and CEO.

The AMC also said Ravi Kumar Jha, its former MD and CEO, resigned from the services of LIC Mutual Fund Asset Management ahead of his impending superannuation from LIC of India. He ceased to be key personnel for the schemes from September 25.

Franklin Templeton changes fund managers across schemes

Franklin Templeton Mutual Fund has announced changes to the fund-management teams of several schemes, effective October 1, 2026, following the cessation of Pallab Roy as fund manager and key personnel from September 30.

Chandni Gupta will join Rohan Maru as fund manager of Franklin India Overnight Fund and Franklin India Liquid Fund. Anuj Tagra will join the fund-management teams of Franklin India Floating Interest Rates Fund and Franklin India Arbitrage Fund.

Changes have also been made to the fund-management teams of Franklin India Ultra Short-Term Fund, Franklin India Conservative Hybrid Fund, Franklin India Retirement Fund, Franklin India Income Plus Arbitrage Active Fund of Funds and Franklin India Multi Asset Allocation Fund.
