Which small-cap funds do these managers oversee?

The managers are associated with some of the better-known small-cap schemes in the market.

  • Samir Rachh and Dhrumil Shah are associated with Nippon India Small Cap Fund.

  • Bandhan Small Cap Fund is managed by Manish Gunwani and Soumen Kundu.

  • Quant Small Cap Fund has Sandeep Tandon and Ankit Pande associated with its management, along with the wider investment team.

One point to keep in mind is that a fund manager's AUM is not the same as the AUM of a single mutual fund scheme. A manager can oversee multiple schemes, so the assets shown in a database may represent the combined assets associated with the schemes or fund-management structure linked to that manager.

Meanwhile, equity mutual fund schemes attracted ₹29,329 crore in August, marking their highest net inflow in four months, as investors continued to show strong interest in small- and mid-cap funds. he inflow was nearly 19% higher than the ₹24,697 crore recorded in July, according to data released by the Association of Mutual Funds in India (AMFI) on 10 September.
