1)₹99 fee introduced for reward redemption

One of the notable changes is the introduction of a ₹99 fee for every reward redemption request on eligible Visa and RuPay credit cards. Previously, reward redemption was free of charge.

2)New charges on high-value utility bill payments
PNB has introduced a charge on high-value utility bill payments made through eligible Visa and RuPay credit cards. If the total utility payments exceed ₹50,000 in a billing cycle, a fee of 1% of the total payment amount will apply, subject to a maximum of ₹2,000 per transaction.
3)Cash advance charges revised

The bank has revised cash advance charges for domestic and overseas ATM withdrawals. For eligible Visa and RuPay credit card variants, withdrawals at PNB ATMs will attract a charge of 2.5% of the amount withdrawn or ₹400, whichever is higher. For withdrawals at other domestic ATMs and overseas ATMs, the charge will be 2.5% of the amount withdrawn or ₹500, whichever is higher. Specific card variants are subject to separate provisions under the revised schedule.

4)Late payment fees restructured

The revised late payment fee structure sets different charges according to the outstanding amount. No fee will apply to dues of ₹500 or less. Outstanding amounts of ₹501 to ₹1,000 will attract a fee of ₹500, while dues between ₹1,001 and ₹10,000 will incur a charge of ₹750. Amounts between ₹10,001 and ₹50,000 will attract ₹1,000, and dues above ₹50,000 will incur a fee of ₹1,200.

5)Cheque returns and auto-debit failures to attract revised charges

For eligible Visa and RuPay credit cards, cheque returns, ECS failures and auto-debit dishonour will attract a charge of 2% of the payment amount, subject to a minimum of ₹400. Credit cards issued against fixed deposits and certain other card variants will be governed by their specified provisions.

6)Duplicate statements to cost ₹50

Customers requesting duplicate credit card statements for any month will be charged ₹50 under the revised schedule. Electronic statements will continue to be available free of charge.

Revised charges effective November 1

PNB has clarified that the revised fees and charges are exclusive of applicable Goods and Services Tax (GST). Cardholders are advised to review the detailed schedule and check the provisions applicable to their specific credit card variant before the new charges take effect on November 1, 2026.
