Financial inclusion

Financial inclusion is one of the focus areas of Dak Chaupal, along with Digital India and Antyodaya. The initiative will seek to strengthen citizen engagement and take information about government and financial services closer to people.

Insurance

Citizens will be sensitised about insurance services as part of Dak Chaupal. The PIB release does not announce any new insurance product under the campaign.

Direct Benefit Transfer

Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) will also be covered under the initiative. Citizens will be sensitised about DBT as part of the Department's efforts to create awareness about financial and government services.

Payments Bank
Payments Bank services are another area that will be highlighted through Dak Chaupal. The release does not state that a new Payments Bank service is being launched from October 2.
Government welfare schemes
