Currently, EPFO subscribers must submit a withdrawal claim application and wait for processing before receiving money.
Members will be able to check the withdrawable PF balance online
Eligible amounts can be transferred directly into linked bank accounts
Transactions will be authenticated using a UPI PIN
Funds can then be used immediately for digital payments or ATM withdrawals
According to the labour ministry, the system is designed to make PF access faster, easier and more user-friendly.
Members will be able to view the portion of their EPF savings available for withdrawal.
The bank account seeded with EPFO records will be used for transfer.
Users will enter their UPI PIN to authorise the transaction securely.
The approved amount will be credited directly to the bank account.

This applies to withdrawals related to illness, education, marriage, housing needs

Members can send a simple “Hello” message to EPFO’s verified WhatsApp account
Services will be available in local and vernacular languages
Users can check PF balances, claim status and recent transactions
Automated assistance will be available 24/7
The initiative is expected to help members who face issues related to Aadhaar authentication or Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) activation.
