The renewable energy company logged a 34.1% jump in its consolidated post-tax profit to ₹618.91 crore in the March quarter of FY25 as against ₹461.52 crore in the same period the previous year.

Revenue from operations increased 36.38% to ₹4,003.93 crore in the reporting quarter, compared to ₹2,935.84 crore in the year-ago period.

Suzlon Energy
Suzlon Energy shares were trading lower for the second consecutive day on Tuesday. Last seen, the stock was at ₹68.66 per share, losing 3.55%. The stock remained under pressure as the Office of the Commissioner of Customs (Imports), Mumbai, has levied a penalty of ₹76.19 lakh upon Suzlon Global Services Limited.

The company had reported a fourfold jump in its consolidated net profit to ₹1,181 crore for the March quarter (Q4 FY25), mainly on the back of higher revenues. Its total income rose to ₹3,825.19 crore in the quarter from ₹2,207.43 crore logged a year ago.

Inox Wind (IWL) posted over a five-fold jump in consolidated net profit to ₹190.34 crore in the March quarter, driven by a surge in revenues. It had posted a net profit of ₹38.74 crore in the fourth quarter of the preceding 2023-24 financial year.

The company's income more than doubled to ₹1,310.65 crore during the January-March FY25 from ₹569.04 crore in Q4 FY24. For the entire FY25, the company reported a net profit of ₹437.62 crore in contrast to a ₹48.16 crore loss in FY24.
