Renewable energy stocks were trading in the green on Wednesday, January 29. Shares of Waaree Energies, NTPC Green Energy, ACME Solar Holdings, Premier Energies and Adani Green were up.
Suzlon Energy, which announced its financial results for the third quarter of the current fiscal year on Tuesday, was also trading higher.
The company posted a 152.25% increase in its consolidated net profit to ₹112 crore in the latest October-December quarter, compared to ₹44.4 crore a year back.
Revenue from operations stood at ₹349 crore, up from ₹331.5 crore in the corresponding period last fiscal.
On Tuesday, the company posted a 91% rise in its consolidated net profit to ₹388 crore for the latest December quarter, as compared to ₹204 crore post-tax profit in the quarter ended December 31, 2023.
Net revenue climbed to ₹2,969 crore in Q3 FY25, up from ₹1,553 crore a year back.

The company will announce its financial results for the third quarter of the current fiscal year on Thursday, January 30.
Last week, the company reported an 18% rise in consolidated profit after tax (PAT) at ₹65.61 crore for the quarter ended December 2024. It had logged ₹55.61 crore PAT in the year-ago quarter.
Total income grew to ₹581.46 crore from ₹463.46 crore.
Intraday, it advanced as much as 1.92%.
