Renewable energy stocks were trading mixed on Monday, August 24. Shares of Waaree Energies, Premier Energies, Saatvik Green Energy, and Adani Green were trading in red.

In contrast, NTPC Green Energy, Suzlon Energy and Premier Energy were up.

NTPC Green Energy shares climbed 0.33% to ₹91.73 apiece on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) at 1:03 pm.

The company in an exchange filing on August 22 announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary NTPC Renewable Energy Limited (NTPC REL) has emerged as a successful bidder in the e-reverse auction conducted by Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited (SECI) for selection of RE Power Developers for Assured Peak Supply of 6000 MWh (1500 MW x 4 Hrs) from ISTS-Connected RE Projects in India, under tariff-based Competitive Bidding (SECI-FDRE-IX).

"Under the terms of the Request for Selection (RfS), NTPC Renewable Energy Limited has secured 500MW contracted capacity at a discovered tariff of ₹6.00/kWh in the aforesaid tender," the company said in an exchange filing.

Saatvik Green Energy stock was trading 0.93% lower at ₹415.05 per share on the NSE. Last week, the company's material subsidiary, Saatvik Solar Industries, had bagged an order worth ₹190 crore from a renowned independent power producer/EPC player for the supply of solar PV modules.

Shares of Waaree Energies and Adani Green Energy fell 1.33% and 1.35%, respectively.

Premier Energies shares were trading 2.53% lower at ₹1,026.40 a unit on the NSE. Last week, the company, in a regulatory filing, said it received a one-notch credit rating upgrade for its long-term credit rating to A+/Positive from CRISIL Ratings Ltd. The firm's short-term rating stands unchanged at A1.

"The rating upgrade reflects Premier Energies' strengthening business and financial profile, supported by its robust operating performance, disciplined execution and expansion of integrated manufacturing capabilities," it said.

In Q1, Premier Energies' revenue rose 34.1% YoY to ₹2,507.6 crore, while net profit jumped 53.3% to ₹471.9 crore.
